Survey


Add a Survey in MOLE

1. On the MOLE course home page, click Turn editing on at the upper right of the page.

2. In the relevant page section, click Add an activity and in the resulting pop-up, under activities, select Survey. Click Add.

3. On the Adding a new Survey page, enter name, survey type and description of the survey.

4. Select the Display description check box if you want the text you entered in the Description to display on the course home page below the survey's link.

5. In the Survey Type, choose a survey type you wish to use. There are 3 available survey types:

      • Attitudes to Thinking and Learning Survey (ATTLS) - For measuring the extent to which a person is a 'connected knower' (tends to find learning more enjoyable, and is often more cooperative, congenial and more willing to build on the ideas of others) or a 'separate knower' (tends to take a more critical and argumentative stance to learning)

      • Critical incidents survey

      • Constructivist On-line Learning Environment Survey (COLLES) - For monitoring the extent to which the interactive capacity of the World Wide Web may be exploited for engaging students in dynamic learning practices

6. Complete any further relevant sections of the page and click Save and display.
