Description: A foundational program designed to equip new faculty with essential pedagogical skills, knowledge of higher education standards, recent technologies affecting teaching, and effective teaching strategies.
Training outcome: Participants will design a course syllabus that aligns with institutional standards for undergraduate or graduate courses. They will develop a learning plan and teaching materials for classroom/online delivery, demonstrating effective teaching strategies in higher education contexts.
Target Participants: Newly hired faculty, instructors, and academic staff entering teaching roles in higher education.
Training Hours: 24 hours
Description: A workshop focused on developing skills for online teaching and learning through modular course design.
Training outcome: Participants will be able to design an online module, use digital tools effectively, and ensure learning outcomes are met in virtual environments.
Target Participants: Faculty and instructors who are teaching or planning to teach online/blended delivery mode for courses. Must have attended LMS (MOLE) Basic Training.
Training Hours: 10 hours

Description: A specialized program on designing, implementing, and evaluating assessments to support learning.
Training outcome: Participants will construct assessment instruments (e.g., quizzes, rubrics, projects) for course evaluation, and analyze assessment results (e.g. item analyses, table of specifications) to improve student learning and instructional effectiveness.

Description: A program aimed at empowering educators to confidently and creatively use digital technologies in their teaching practices. Through practical, hands-on learning, participants explore how tools such as learning management systems and emerging technologies can enhance engagement, support learner-centered classrooms, and enrich the overall learning experience. TILT prepares educators to thrive in dynamic, technology-enabled learning environments.
